CME and CEC accreditation

Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits (Category I) will be provided through Laval University in Quebec City, which is recognized by the College of Physicians in Quebec, the Canadian Council of Medical Schools, and by the Accreditation Council of CME in the USA.
There will be a 20$ additional registration fee for CME credits.

Continuing Education Credits (CEC) for Sleep Technologist (RPSGT):
The Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) recognizes CEC credits awarded through conferences of the Canadian Sleep Society.


CME and CEC information

  • Technologist day (Sunday) CEC = 6½ hours
  • Tech Workshops French: 1½ hours each for 3 workshops
  • Tech Workshops English: 2 hours each x 3 workshops
  • Scientific conference maximum possible CEC = 8 hours Monday and Tuesday, and 7½ hours for Wednesday Maximum total: 15½ hours (excludes Industry sponsored events)
Please note that you can claim educational credit hours only for sessions that you attend. For Technologists CECs could be workshops and for the scientific program. You can attend any sessions including going to a symposium rather than a tech workshop, but you cannot double-dip.
